Welcome to your ECTE Induction with the Calderdale & Kirklees Teaching School Hub.

Statutory induction is the bridge between initial teacher training and a career in teaching. It combines a personalised programme of development, support and professional dialogue, with monitoring and assessment of performance against the Teachers’ Standards.

In this document, you will find information, guidance and documentation relating to the whole ECT induction period. This covers the two aspects of an ECT induction period:

• Statutory induction, overseen by the Appropriate Body Service
• Early Career Framework training, overseen by the Hub (as a Delivery Partner) for Ambition Institute (as Lead Provider).
