!!! New NPQ application deadline: now Tuesday 21 October 2025 !!!

If you are interested in undertaking an NPQ with our next cohort commencing November 2025, please see below.

Please take note of the following:

• The deadline to apply is Tuesday 21 October 2025.
• There will be one intake only in the 2025/26 academic year; no other NPQ cohorts will be available. 
• There are limited funded places available for each NPQ programme, so being eligible for funding does not guarantee either suitability for the course or that you will be offered a funded place.  
• To check whether your school/setting qualifies for funding, please use Ambition Institute’s online eligibility checker tool
• Applications will be reviewed and places offered on a first-come-first-served basis, so we advise you to apply for your NPQ as early as possible. 
• For the NPQSENCO, places will be offered firstly to those who are current SENCOs and thereafter to those who are aspiring SENCOs or line manage SENCOs.

1.  Register with Ambition Institute, our lead provider, via this link NPQ programme page.  Select your chosen NPQ and then click on 'Register now'.  Please register with a school as Academy trusts may appear as ineligible.  

2.  Following registration, you will also need to register with the DfE via this link Register for a national professional qualification

3.  Your application will be reviewed by the Hub.  If your application is successful, you will receive an email from Ambition Institute offering you a place.  You must follow the instructions within that email to accept your place.
