Train to Teach

Throughout Calderdale and Kirklees you’ll be able to find courses for Initial Teacher Training (ITT) that combine professional learning, academic study and hands-on experience in the classroom. We offer a school direct route that puts school experience at the heart of the course so you are in school settings learning from our experts from day one.

For the new 2023 cohort, we are really excited to announce that we will be working in partnership with trinity Institute of Education to offer Initial Teacher Training through the National Institute of Teaching.
