Early Career Teacher Programme

We have over 400 ECTs working through their training with us, and event attendance has been over 95%, so a big thank you to everyone involved in both the facilitation and logistics to make this possible. ECTs and mentors have found their events really beneficial. Some comments include:

'Really well-designed training. Thorough & clear'.

'Appreciated the open, realistic approach'.

'Brilliant training! Easy to follow, engaging &with a good balance of input & tasks'.

Next term, Year 1 ECTs will attend their Conference 2 and Clinic 2 events and Year 2 ECTs will attend their Clinic 5 event. There will also be online training for mentors, so look out for dates and booking details.

The next Induction Tutor breakfast briefing will be held on Thursday 8th January at 7.45 a.m. The Zoom link can be found on our website.

NPQ's

This half term we are delighted to have welcomed over 150 participants on to our NPQ Autumn 2025 programmes.  We look forward to supporting them on their learning journey.

As we have now moved to a one cohort intake per academic year, our next intake is expected to be Autumn 2026.  Please keep an eye on our website for details on how to apply later in the academic year.

Participants in our Spring 2024 leadership cohorts recently received their assessment results.  Congratulations to all who passed!  This marks an important milestone in their leadership development journey, and we are incredibly proud of them.

We look forward to seeing the achievements of our Autumn 2024 specialist cohorts who will receive their assessment results in January 2026.

We would like to thank our participants for their dedication to improving outcomes for our schools.  Thanks also to our fantastic facilitators whose expertise, encouragement and commitment play such a pivotal role in supporting our NPQ participants.

Appropriate Body

It has been another successful term for our AB services, supporting around 470 ECTs in 170 schools. We have visited 40 schools, either in person or virtually, and have welcomed a number of new schools and induction tutors to the service.

The end of term is always a busy time as we review all of the termly ECT reports, but it fills us with joy reading about just how fantastically ECTs are progressing.

We strive to offer you the most effective, value for money service we can and have kept our fees the same this academic year. We continue to contribute to national and regional advisory boards and always feed forward your comments and concerns.

We would like to wish everyone a restful and enjoyable break.
